Barefoot headquarters

Every resort says it has a bar. Ours has a hand-painted sign, a bartender who remembers your drink from yesterday, and barstools where the day's biggest decision is frozen or on the rocks.

The Lazy Pelican is Ocean Tide's own tiki bar, sitting right on the sand between the pool deck and the Caribbean. Guests drift in from the beach, boats drift past on their way home from the reef, and around 5:30 the whole place turns gold. You are welcome barefoot, salty, and in whatever you swam in.

"Great vibes — the bartender Raymond is super pleasant and will do his best to accommodate whichever drink you order."Guest review · TripAdvisor · Feb 2026

The Pelican at night

The string lights come on, the music comes up, and the day's stories get better with every retelling. This is where the reef divers, the ruin climbers, and the do-nothing-all-day crowd all end up at the same bar top.
